Enabling the alarm service
Use this procedure to enable the alarm service from the Unified Manager interface and to view
alarms on the alarm banner.
1 Access the correct Business Communications Manager in your network from the Unified
Manager workstation browser.
2 Select the Services key from the Unified Manager main page and expand the navigation tree.
A list of available services appears in the Services information frame.
3 Select the Alarm Service heading from the navigation tree window.
The Alarm Service Summary dialog box appears.
4 From the Status list box, change the status of the alarm service to Enabled.

5 Press the Tab key to save the settings.
