connect over DLSw.

Host is unavailable or IP

cannot reach it

XID is incorrect

Destination MAC address

incorrect; if LLC media is

Verify the status of the host

and attempt to ping the

target router.

Obtain correct XID values.

Verify that the destination

MAC address is correct; if

the LLC media is Ethernet,

then flip the address format.

Obtain flows and traces and

contact Bay Networks.

SNA stations fail in heavy

network traffic.

Other traffic is taking too

much time on the WAN

DLC initiated termination of

session

Use protocol prioritization to

provide more bandwidth to

SNA.
