Function: Specifies the maximum frame size that SDLC supports. This value includes the

transmission header (TH), request header (RH), and request unit (RU).

Instructions: Enter a maximum frame size equal to or larger than the largest frame size that

will be received.

Parameter: Canureach Timer

Default: 30

Range: 0 to 3600

Function: Specifies the time interval (in seconds) after which the router sends a

CANUREACH message to the remote DLSw peer to establish a session.

Instructions: Enter the number of seconds you want for the time interval. For example, enter

1 to transmit a CANUREACH message once per second, or enter 3600 to

transmit the message once per hour. Enter 0 if you do not want to transmit a

CANUREACH message.

Range: 0 to 4294967295

Function: Specifies the number of times a CANUREACH message is initially sent to the

remote DLSw peer to establish a session.

Instructions: Enter the number of retries you want. Enter 0 if you do not want to transmit

CANUREACH messages. Leave the default value 4294967295 to send an

infinite number of CANUREACH messages for this connection.
