Dial Backup with PPP or Standard on the Primary Line
Figure B-3 shows Routers 1 and 2 connected via a synchronous line running PPP
and using Raise DTR signaling. This connection can also use Bay Networks
Standard. You designate this synchronous connection as a primary connection, so
if it fails, the router provides a dial backup connection.
You can configure the routers for this network using Site Manager or the BCC. Go
