Parameter: Global Adaption Rate

Default: 64K

Function: In accordance with the ITU-T V.110 standard, this parameter enables the router
to send and receive data transmitting at a rate of 56 Kb/s and adapt it for
transmission over a 64 Kb/s line.
Instructions: Specify the rate that the router sends and receives calls over a B channel.
Ensure that the rate is compatible with the network connections to the
destination device. Ask your provider if you are unsure.

Parameter: Global X.25 over ISDN-D Channel
Path: Dialup > Edit Switch Parameters > ISDN Configured Switches
Default: Disable
Options: Enable

Function: Globally enables or disables X.25 service over the D channel for a slot on the
router.
Instructions: Site Manager automatically sets this parameter to Enable when you configure
X.25 service over the D channel for a BRI line. Refer to page A-30
for the
parameter that enables this feature for the BRI line.
Select Disable to disable this service for a slot.
