Configuring Line Services

Parameter: Remote Port
Path: COM Connector > Edit Line > Edit Asynchronous Parameters
Default: 7
Options: 1 to 65535
Function: Specifies a remote port for the TCP connection for asynchronous
communications.
Instructions: Enter a remote port number. The remote port number is used only when the
Start Protocol parameter is set to Originate.

Parameter: Local Port

Default: 2100
Options: 1 to 65535
Function: Specifies a local port on the router for the TCP connection for asynchronous
communications.
Instructions: Enter a local port number. The local port number is used only when the Start
Protocol parameter is set to Answer.

Parameter: Baud Rate

Options: 300
