Since the application does not specify a channel, VTCPD chooses the connection and

the slot in the pool using round robin load balancing (see Message Routing on page

53.)

If all the connections are full, the application receives getfail (see VTCPD Status

and Exception Conditions Reference on page 106.) Select Failure in the Resource

block to provide an error recovery path. A Handle block can also be used to provide

error recovery. If the application gets a host connection, it receives gotres.

If the application terminates, VTCPD frees the host connection (see Freeing the Host

Connection on page 95.)
