Default: Advertise

Options: Advertise

Do Not Advertise

Function: Specifies whether the border router advertises a summary route to other areas.

Instructions: Select Do Not Advertise if you want to hide the existence of certain networks

from other areas. By default, the border router advertises a single route for the

range of routes you specify.

MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.14.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.4.1.7

Parameter: Metric

Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > OSPF/MOSPF > Areas >Ranges

Default: 0

Options: 0 to 2,147,483,647

Function: Specifies the metric to advertise into other areas as the distance from the OSPF

router to any network in the range.

Instructions: If you select 0, the router uses the value calculated by OSPF.
