Parameter: IDNUM

Default: None

Options: Any 5-digit hexadecimal value from 00000 to FFFFF (for T2.0 nodes)

Function: Speciﬁes the ID number, which must match the host’s IDNUM parameter

value that identiﬁes incoming connection requests. This parameter is used

with the PU Type, IDBLOCK, and XID Format parameters to determine

the station exchange identiﬁcation (XID) value.

Instructions: Obtain the conﬁgured value at the host (from VTAM or other host

operating system) for this device. Type a 5-digit hexadecimal value from

00000 to FFFFF for T2.0 nodes.
