Using the Configuration Manager

Select the appropriate router model, and then click on Conﬁrm. The Conﬁguration

Manager window displays the logical image of the rear panel associated with that

router model (Figure 1-5).

You must now specify the router’s hardware conﬁguration.

Specifying Router Hardware

You specify the router hardware in local mode only. You can add hardware to

empty slots and change the hardware in occupied slots. The procedure for both is

the same.

Note:

When you change hardware in a slot containing conﬁgured circuits, the

Conﬁguration Manager automatically deletes the circuits.
