Options: Enable

| Disable

Function: Globally enables or disables the system software mechanisms that allow

users to add XNS interfaces to the node conﬁguration.

Disable forces every XNS interface existing on the node into the “down”

(inoperative) state.

Enable reinitializes every XNS interface existing on the node, with each

interface maintaining the most recent setting of its own

Interface Enable

| Disable parameter. The actual up/down operating state

of each interface at the time of global reinitialization further depends on

the current up/down state of the associated circuit.

Instructions: Select Disable to force every XNS interface existing on the node into the

“down” (inoperative) state.

Select Enable to globally reinitialize all XNS interfaces conﬁgured on the

node, with each interface maintaining the most recent setting of its own
