Starting PPP Services

What’s in This Chapter

PPP is a standard point-to-point protocol for sending data packets over serial

synchronous and asynchronous lines.

This chapter describes how to create a basic PPP conﬁguration by specifying

values for required parameters only, and accepting default values for all other

parameters of PPP.
