Parameter: LLC Error Recovery Under HPR

Default: Disable

Options: Enable

Disable

Function: Enables or disables LLC error recovery on this link station. This

parameter is available when the global HPR Support parameter is set to

Enable, and when the HPR Support for this LS parameter is set to Enable

on this link station.

Instructions: Click on Values and select Enable or Disable.

Parameter: Link Deactivation

Default: 120

Range: 5 to 255

Function: Specifies the time (in seconds) before APPN deactivates this link station

if it is an HPR limited resource. This parameter is available when the

following parameters are set to Enable:

• HPR Support

• HPR Support for this LS

• Limited Resource

Instructions: Specify a value in the range 5 to 255, inclusive.

Editing APPN Connection Networks

An APPN connection network lets you route session traffic directly between two

link stations, without intermediate node intervention. Connection networks

require link definitions at a network node for any directly connected nodes.

To edit Connection Networks parameters from the Configuration Manager

window (refer to Figure 3-1
