VSS Host ID information

VSS uses the MAC address of the first Network Interface Card (NIC) on the WebLM server for

licensing. The Host ID can contain:

● Numbers or letters

● Up to 50 characters in length

● Upper and lower case letters

● Some special characters

VSS license file information

Table 24 shows information that you need to know to create a license file for VSS.
