Deleting the DCM Software Subsystem

The ANH requires the DCMMW software to communicate with the DCM board.

Deleting DCMMW deactivates the DCM board.

To completely deactivate the DCM board:

1. From the Conﬁguration Manager window, select

Platform➔DCM➔Delete DCM (F

igure 6-10).

Conﬁguration Manager displays a conﬁrmation prompt.

2. Click on OK.

Conﬁguration Manager deletes the DCMMW base record, bringing the DCM

board completely down.

After deleting the DCM conﬁguration, you reactivate the DCM board by selecting

Platform➔DCM➔Create DCM to recreate the DCMMW record (refer to

igure 6-6).

Note: Always try disabling the DCM board by setting the Enable/Disable

parameter to Disable before you delete the DCMMW software.
