Removing an Installed Memory Module

To remove the existing SIMM from the ARN base module:

Locate the SIMM connector on the ARN base module (Figure 1-4).

Note the spring latch at each end of the SIMM connector.

2. Carefully press outward on the two spring latches until the SIMM ejects

from the locking studs (F

igure 1-5).

Apply simultaneous pressure to both spring latches.
