Upgrading Memory in the Passport 2430 Mutiservice Access Switch

Carefully turn the Passport 2430 rightside up, grasp the cover near the

front and pull up and remove as shown in Figure 3

Locate the SIMM slot (Figure 4).

If there is already a SIMM in the SIMM slot, go to “Removing a SIMM” on

page 5. Otherwise go to “Inserting a SIMM” on page 6
