IP Telephony Configuration Guide

Gatekeeper support for interoperability:

6 Create a service configuration for IPT.

a Select the Services tab.

b Click the Add button.

c In the Prefix field, enter the unique telephone number that identifies the Meridian IPT

system in the Business Communications Manager dialing plan.

7 Define the IPT as a predefined endpoint.

a Select the Endpoints tab.

b Click the Add predefined button.

The Predefined Endpoint Properties dialog displays.

c Ensure the following fields are set:

8 Close the application.

9 Run system tests to ensure the gatekeeper is routing calls correctly.

calls to be routed to this IPT.

Disallowed

Ensure the IPT service is on the list, and is
