About This Guide

If you are responsible for installing or maintaining a Bay Networks™ BayStack™

Advanced Remote Node™ (ARN™) router, read this guide to discover how to

install any of the following WAN adapter modules in the ARN router:

• DSU/CSU

• V.34 Modem

• Serial

• ISDN BRI with U interface

• ISDN BRI with S/T interface

Before You Begin

Make sure that you are running the latest version of Bay Networks Site Manager

and router software. The ARN requires Router Software Version 11.00 Rev. 4n or

later.
